Semarang, December 18, 2024 – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) hosted an educational visit from students of MAN 1 Bekasi on Wednesday (12/18). The event was lively, even though the group arrived amidst heavy rain that drenched the FISIP building. The students’ enthusiasm remained high as they eagerly learned more about FISIP Undip.

The visit was led by Dra. Yuri Astuti, a teacher representing MAN 1 Bekasi. In her remarks, she expressed gratitude for the warm welcome extended by FISIP Undip. “We are deeply thankful for the extraordinary reception. Our students have been enthusiastic from the beginning, and even the heavy rain did not dampen their spirit to learn more about FISIP Undip,” said Dra. Yuri Astuti.

During the visit, the students participated in an engaging session where they were introduced to FISIP’s academic programs, facilities, and campus life, presented directly by experienced lecturers. The interactive presentation created a cheerful and energetic atmosphere among the participants. Not only the students but also the accompanying teachers actively asked questions to gain deeper insights about the faculty.

The event concluded with a group photo session in the FISIP campus area, serving as a memento of the visit. This moment marked the end of an inspiring experience for the students.

In addition to MAN 1 Bekasi, FISIP Undip also welcomed visits from three other schools in December: SMAN 1 Majalengka, SMAN 4 Cilegon, and SMAIT Ummul Quro. This demonstrates that FISIP Undip remains a primary destination for schools across Indonesia seeking to provide their students with insights into higher education.

Through these visits, it is hoped that students will gain new motivation to pursue higher education and achieve their dreams. FISIP Undip remains committed to inspiring and delivering the best education to Indonesia’s younger generation.
