Semarang (23/10) – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) once again became a focal point for secondary education today with the visit of students from SMAK Penabur 7 Jakarta. This visit is part of a series of activities conducted throughout October aimed at introducing the university to prospective students. Besides SMAK Penabur 7 Jakarta, other schools that have visited in recent weeks include SMAK Penabur Summarecon Bekasi, MAN 19 South Jakarta, SMA Global Islamic School 2, and MAN 2 Surakarta.
This initiative seeks to provide comprehensive information about FISIP Undip to students, including admissions pathways, academic programs, the International Undergraduate Program (IUP), and various course offerings. Additionally, students had the chance to experience the campus firsthand through the FISIP Tour, offering them an authentic glimpse of the learning environment at this distinguished university.
The Principal of SMAK Penabur 7 Jakarta, Mr. Hendro Lumbanraja, M.Pd., expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity. “The students are excited and eager to participate in this activity as they seek to gain further insight into college life at Universitas Diponegoro, particularly FISIP,” he remarked.
The event opened with an energetic musical performance by Ms. Umi, accompanied by two students from SMAK Penabur 7 Jakarta, creating a warm and interactive atmosphere. FISIP’s welcoming remarks were delivered by Ms. Dinalestari Purbawati, S.E., M.Si., Akt., who also served as the moderator for an interactive discussion session. Lecturers from various study programs then highlighted the strengths of FISIP Undip, from its dynamic curriculum to career opportunities for its graduates.
The event culminated in an interactive Q&A session where students had the opportunity to ask various questions related to studying at FISIP. The visit concluded with a campus tour, where students were shown the state-of-the-art facilities offered by FISIP Undip.
Through this visit, FISIP Undip not only introduced itself as a leading faculty but also inspired students to choose their future higher education paths. This event is expected to encourage more students to pursue their studies at Universitas Diponegoro and become part of the FISIP family.
