Semarang (10/01) – In an effort to foster harmonious working relationships among departments and units within the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip), the 56th-anniversary celebration was held with great enthusiasm. This event aims to serve as a platform to create positive synergy, prevent gaps, and avoid unhealthy competition, enabling all elements of FISIP Undip to unite in achieving shared goals.
The 56th Anniversary of FISIP Undip was celebrated over two days, Thursday-Friday, January 9-10, 2025, at the FISIP Undip campus in Tembalang. The event carried the theme “Aksata Sahitya,” derived from Sanskrit, which means “always together in harmony to achieve sustainable and continuous shared goals.”
The first day of the celebration was enlivened by various competitions involving all units and departments within FISIP Undip. These competitions were not only an opportunity to showcase creativity and camaraderie but also to strengthen inter-unit relationships. In his opening remarks on Thursday morning, the Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin., emphasized the importance of solidarity and unity.
“The essence of this joyful activity is to ensure that we remain united, work together harmoniously, maintain solidarity, and foster cooperation without any grievances among us. Everyone must work well together to achieve our shared goals,” he stated.
The peak of the celebration took place on Friday, January 10, 2025, with the holding of an award ceremony as a form of appreciation for the contributions of various parties in supporting the progress of FISIP Undip. In addition, this series of 56th Anniversary activities will be continued with a Scientific Oration which is planned to be held in February, marking FISIP Undip’s commitment to continue contributing to the development of science and cross-sector collaboration.
With the spirit of “Aksata Sahitya,” the 56th Anniversary of FISIP Undip becomes a significant moment to strengthen unity and cooperation amidst diversity, enabling the faculty to face various challenges with optimism and solidarity.
