Semarang (29/07) – Collaboration between academic institutions and government agencies is crucial in creating mutually beneficial synergy. The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) and the National Public Procurement Agency (LKPP) strive to strengthen their collaboration through various programs, one of which is the Internship/Field Work Program (PKL). This partnership is expected to benefit both students and related institutions, promoting the application of academic knowledge in the professional world.
On Monday, July 29, 2024, a visit to explore Internship/Field Work Program (PKL) collaboration opportunities took place in the Senate Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip). The event was attended by Ms. Suharti (Head of the Legal, Organization, and Human Resources Bureau of LKPP), along with two of her staff, Dian and Anisa. They were warmly welcomed by the Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin., and the Vice Dean for Resources of FISIP Undip, Ika Riswanti Putranti, S.H., M.H., Ph.D.
During this event, various key points regarding collaboration opportunities were discussed. Some of the main topics included the opportunities and special quota mechanisms for prospective postgraduate students who pass the entrance examination, various scholarships in collaboration with FISIP Undip for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, as well as research opportunities for students in the field of procurement. Additionally, follow-up plans to realize this collaboration into practical implementation were also discussed.
Through constructive discussions, it is hoped that this visit will not only be an occasion for information exchange but also lead to concrete steps that benefit both parties. FISIP Undip hopes that this collaboration can better prepare students for the workforce by providing practical experience and relevant insights in the field of government procurement of goods/services.
This event reflects the commitment of both institutions to continuously innovate and improve the quality of education and human resource development. This step is expected to lay a strong foundation for broader and sustainable cooperation between FISIP Undip and LKPP in the future.
