Strengthening Academic Synergy, FISIP ULM Visits FISIP Undip

Semarang (06/04) – Cooperation between universities is an essential aspect of developing the quality of education and research in Indonesia. This was proven by a Cooperation visit and Benchmarking by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) Banjarmasin to FISIP Universitas Diponegoro(Undip) on Monday, June 3, 2024.

The visit, which took place in Room B.R.M. Antawirya, Building A, FISIP Undip Tembalang Campus, was led directly by the Dean of FISIP ULM, Prof. Dr. H. Budi Suryadi, S.Sos., M.Si. The FISIP ULM delegation, consisting of 6 people, was warmly welcomed by the Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin and Vice Dean of Resources, Ika Riswanti Putranti, S.H., M.H., Ph.D. Also present were all departmental and study program administrators in FISIP Undip.

In his remarks, the Dean of FISIP ULM, Prof. Dr. H. Budi Suryadi, S.Sos., M.Si., explained that the main purpose of this visit was to establish Tri Dharma cooperation between the two universities. This collaboration is expected to be implemented through lecturer and student exchange programs, as well as benchmarking to study programs within FISIP Undip.

The Dean of FISIP ULM also emphasized the importance of cooperation between universities in improving the quality of education and research. Through this cooperation, the two universities can share experiences and knowledge, and improve the quality of education for their students.

On the other hand, the Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin., welcomed the visit from FISIP ULM and was ready to establish close cooperation. He hoped that this cooperation could provide benefits for both universities and contribute to the progress of education in Indonesia.

This cooperation visit and benchmarking are expected to be a strong foundation for the two universities to establish closer cooperation in the future. Through this collaboration, the two universities can learn and grow together, and improve the quality of education and research in Indonesia.
