The Oath-Taking and Inauguration Ceremony for Officials within Universitas Diponegoro was held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Prof. Soedarto SH Building, UNDIP Tembalang. The ceremony was led by the Rector of Universitas Diponegoro, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si., and attended by UNDIP leadership and the newly inaugurated officials.
Accompanied by a religious leader, the UNDIP Rector conducted the oath-taking for the appointed officials. The ceremony continued with the reading and signing of the Oath of Office and Integrity Pact Minutes, as well as the signing of the Minutes of Handover and the Submission of End-of-Term Memoranda.
The UNDIP Rector inaugurated the Vice Rectors and other officials within Universitas Diponegoro based on the Rector’s Decree Numbers: 34/UN7.A/KP/V/2024 to 45/UN7.A/KP/V/2024 regarding the Termination and Appointment of Vice Rectors, Deans and Vice Deans, Chairman and Vice Chairman of Agencies, Vice Heads of Institutions, Directors and Vice Directors, Chairman of Internal Audit Unit, Heads and Vice Heads of Offices, Head of Technical Implementation Unit, Heads of Department, Heads of Study Program, Heads of Division and Subdivision Supervisors within Universitas Diponegoro.
For the 2024-2029 period, Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T. was inaugurated as Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs; Dr. Warsito Kawedar, S.E., M.Si., Akt. as Vice Rector for Resources; Prof. Dr. Adian Fatchur Rochim, S.T., M.T. as Vice Rector for Communication and Business; and Wijayanto, S.IP., M.Si., Ph.D. as Vice Rector for Research and Innovation.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si., the Rector of UNDIP, expressed gratitude to God Almighty for all the blessings that have allowed UNDIP to remain sustainable to this day.
Prof. Suharnomo mentioned that in work, there would inevitably be unpleasant aspects, so it was essential to find one’s own joy. “What makes people perform better? Internal motivation. Challenging work, do it passionately, make an effort to love it. If you are not happy in your work, it will just become a mere obligation,” he explained.
“Legacy is paramount, make a significant impact. Ensure that your presence makes a difference. Let us strive for benefit. Seeing happy people in the community should be a continuous charity and our motivation to improve. Let’s aim to be the best in Asia, in both research and teaching,” urged Prof. Suharnomo.
At the end of his speech, the UNDIP Rector encouraged all officials, lecturers, and educational staff to remain enthusiastic about working, discussing, and executing tasks, “Everything is assessed based on performance, do your best!” (Titis – Public Relations)
