Supporting Undip’s Vision as an Excellent Research University: Exploring Collaboration between PRPDN – BRIN and FISIP Undip

Semarang (14/05) – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) continues to strengthen its position as a centre of research and academic excellence through various initiatives that support Undip’s vision as an excellent research university. One crucial step in realizing this vision is through strategic collaboration with leading research institutions, as seen in the institutional collaboration exploration event between the Domestic Government Research Center of the National Research and Innovation Agency (PRPDN – BRIN) and the academic community at FISIP Undip.

This collaboration exploration event, held in the Senate Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of FISIP Undip’s Building A on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, manifests the commitment of FISIP Undip to make significant contributions to the world of research and innovation. The event was officially opened by Vice Dean for Resources, Ika Riswanti Putranti, S.H., M.H., Ph.D., representing the Dean of FISIP Undip.

In her address, Vice Dean for Resources of FISIP Undip, Ika Riswanti, Ph.D., emphasized the importance of this collaboration as part of the collective effort to advance knowledge and research in Indonesia. She also expressed her hope that this collaboration would be mutually beneficial for both institutions, opening doors for valuable exchanges of ideas, knowledge, and experiences in support of Undip’s vision as an excellent research university.

The collaboration exploration event was attended by a team from PRPDN-BRIN, including Mardyanto Wahyu Tryatmoko, Ph.D. (Head of PDN Research Center) and Dr. Uchaimid Biridlo’i Robby, S.Sos.M.Si. (Junior Researcher), as well as department and study program administrators within FISIP Undip. Intensive discussions on the MoA/Research Collaboration design, Knowledge Sharing by the Domestic Government Research Center, as well as sharing information related to MBKM, BRIN Research Funding, and other related topics were the main highlights of this event.

This collaboration lays a crucial foundation for building a solid partnership between PRPDN – BRIN and FISIP Undip, expected to result in sustainable collaboration in addressing increasingly complex research and innovation challenges in the future.

With a spirit of innovation and strong commitment, FISIP Undip continues to actively contribute to knowledge development and address various global challenges, making collaboration with national and international research institutions a key strategy in achieving sustainable research and academic excellence.
