Semarang, (16/1) – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) organized a Farewell and Welcome Event for the Dean of FISIP Undip from the 2019-2024 period to the 2024-2029 period. The event marked a historic moment for the academic community of FISIP Undip. Held at the FISIP Undip Auditorium, Prof. Dr. Drs. Hardi Warsono, MT, who served as the Dean since 2019, officially passed on the leadership to Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin.

In his address, Prof. Dr. Drs. Hardi Warsono, MT, expressed his gratitude for completing his term during the 2019-2024 period and thanked the entire academic community for their support.

“Over the past five years, FISIP Undip has experienced significant development. We have successfully enhanced the quality of education, and the achievements we’ve made are the result of collective efforts, the efforts of lecturers, education staff, and students.”

Under Prof. Hardi’s leadership, the achievements of FISIP Undip were not only evident academically but also in building networks with various entities, both nationally and internationally.

Prof. Dr. Drs. Hardi Warsono, MT, also advised the Dean for the 2024-2029 period, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin, to make FISIP more advanced, prosperous, and successful.

On the other hand, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin, who previously served as the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at FISIP Undip, expressed gratitude to the entire academic community of FISIP Undip for their support and commitment to continue the journey of FISIP Undip towards greater achievements.

“I express my deepest thanks and appreciation for the contributions of the entire academic community of FISIP Undip, thanks to Prof. Dr. Drs. Hardi Warsono, MT, who has fulfilled his duties, contributing to the progress of FISIP Undip, and I will continue with the entire academic community at FISIP Undip, making us more prosperous in the coming years.”

The dean’s farewell dan welcome event also included the presentation of mementos and was enlivened by entertainment from UPK Shakutala FISIP Undip. The event concluded with the hope that FISIP Undip will continue to grow and make a significant contribution to the field of education and society.
