Semarang (3/11) – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Universitas Diponegoro (FISIP Undip) conducted an Academic Writing Workshop with the aim of improving the quality of academic writings by faculty members for competition in research, both at the national and international levels. This event was organized by the Research and Community Service Development Unit (UP3) of FISIP Undip and took place on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.

The workshop was attended by lecturers from various academic disciplines and research fields within FISIP Undip. Participants were encouraged to deepen their skills in effective writing, construct sound writing structures, and develop clearer arguments and thoughts in their scholarly works. By doing so, it is anticipated that faculty members can become more competitive in the realm of research, particularly concerning publication and research competitions at the national and international levels.

The workshop featured two main speakers: Prof. Anis Chairi, S.E., M.Com., Ph.D., Akt from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Diponegoro and Dr. Dra. Kismartini, M.Si. from FISIP Undip. These two speakers presented essential topics related to effective academic writing techniques and strategies for enhancing the quality of scholarly writing.

This Academic Writing Workshop was held in the Theater room of Building C at FISIP Undip in Tembalang, exemplifying FISIP Undip’s commitment to improving academic quality and research within the faculty. It is expected that similar activities will continue to be organized to support the ongoing development of knowledge and research in the future.
