Tuesday (23/05) The Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Universitas Diponegoro, Dr. Drs.Hardi Warsono, M.T., along with Retna Hanani, S.Sos, MPP. as Program Manager of the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) and Satria Aji Imawan, S.I.P., MPA as Chair of the International Office (UUI) paid a visit to Griffith University, Brisbane Australia. During his visit, the Dean of FISIP Undip and his staff were greeted by Professor Kai He, Director of Central Government and Public Policy, Professor Ian Hall, Acting Director of the Griffith Asia Institute, and Professor Reza Monem, Director of the Corporate Governance and Research Accountability Cluster. On the sidelines of the official visit, the Dean of FISIP UNDIP and his staff also met the President of the Griffith University Indonesian Student Association (ISAGU), Teguh Rifandi, a lecturer at the Department of International Relations of FISIP UNDIP who is currently pursuing a doctoral education at Griffith University, Nadia Farabi, and several academic staff at the Griffith Asia Institute.

The meeting discussed opportunities for cooperation that might be established between FISIP Undip and Griffith University, such as cooperation in the fields of joint research, visiting professors, and staff and student exchange programs. This is in line with the Dean of FISIP Undip in his remarks during the visit that the mission brought on this agenda was to establish stronger ties of friendship and cooperation with Griffith University. He also mentioned that cooperation was an essential effort to improve academic performance at FISIP Undip. In addition, Undip had a World Class University program that allowed FISIP Undip to establish equal cooperation with foreign universities and institutions. So, he hoped that the visit could result in productive cooperation between FISIP Undip and Griffith University.

(Program Manager of IUP) and Satria Aji Imawan, S.I.P., MPA (Chair of the International Office (UUI)).

Furthermore, the Dean of FISIP UNDIP also explained that FISIP UNDIP currently had international events such as the ICISPE paper conference and also the Summer Course which was routinely held every year. As an effort to realize the goal of becoming a World Class University, these events certainly present world-class speakers from various parts of the world. At the end of his remarks, the Dean of FISIP Undip said that FISIP Undip was open to cooperation with students and researchers from Griffith University who wanted to conduct research in Indonesia.
