Semarang (9/2) The chant of FISIP JAYA started the inauguration of a group of student organizations including the PSDKU Rembang Public Administration Student Association at the Orange Campus, Undip Tembalang Campus. The activity continued with the reading of the Decree and the signing ceremony of each chairman of the student organization.
Yazid Syuhada Jaelani, Chairman of the Student Executive Board (BEM) of FISIP UNDIP conveyed a message in his speech to represent student organizations at FISIP UNDIP that in 2023, the synergy of student organizations to move forward together was not only between BEM and the Student Senate but also with all student organizations in all FISIP UNDIP student organizations. The Government Studies student also said that the commitment and responsibility hopefully could be carried out this year, since this year we are implementing it with different dynamics because we are transitional students from the Covid-19 Pandemic era. Yazin quoted Sutan Sjahrir “Life that is not fought for, is never won”. He said.
After the remarks of representatives of student organizations from BEM, Aprilia Dyah Hutami, Chairperson of the UNDIP FISIP Student Senate in 2023 also conveyed her speech. Marked by the implementation of the oath of office this year, the progressive steps taken cannot be separated from the services of senior Ormawa in 2022, we want to continue the progressive steps in 2023. He concluded.
The inauguration of student organizations was closed with remarks and directions from the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro, Dr. Hardi Warsono, MT. The first person at the Orange Campus congratulated the 2023 Student Executive Board and thanked the 2022 BEM management. His speech was followed by a question “Is Ormawa still needed by students? (Perhaps this is a question from ordinary students”. He also gave an explanation regarding the question that in principle it was fixed, that Ormawa had many functions such as to convey aspirations as well as possible for the progress of FISIP UNDIP. So that as much as possible the faculty will be involved since it is beneficial for the faculty and the entire academic community.
At the end of his speech, Dr. Hardi Warsono, MT also conveyed the types of students:
- Active in student organizations, active in competitions, and has a high GPA
- Active in student organizations and active in competitions, but has a bad GPA.
- Not active in student organizations and do not care about campus activities, but have a high GPA.
- Not active at all
