FISIP Undip’s 54th Anniversary held a series of competitions to Strengthen Friendship

Semarang – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Universitas Diponegoro has held its 54th Anniversary with various competition activities for two days offline at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Universitas Diponegoro, on Saturday, January 14, 2023.

This year, in order to celebrate the anniversary of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences which promoted the theme Building the Nation with Creation, Building the Nation with Achievement, various types of competitions, such as tug-of-war, clogs, tumpeng, twibbon and digital poster competitions had been held and attended by Alumni, Deans, Lecturers, and Students of FISIP Undip.

Following the completion of the competition, the committee announced the winners of the 5 categories of competition. For the category of winners of the competition that hones editing skills and creativity, namely the Twibbon Competition, the winners were Mas Agus, followed by Mba Nabil, and Agus Naryoso in the third place. The winner of the Digital Poster Competition which carries the theme Building a Nation with Work, Building a Nation with Achievement was won by Agus Naryoso in first place, A. Syuhada in second place, and Aulia Audrey in third place. Meanwhile, the Traditional Competition Winners are divided into two categories, namely the Women’s and Men’s categories which aim to strengthen friendship and develop cohesiveness. It was followed by representatives of departments at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro, namely the Women’s Tug of War Competition won by the Department of Business Administration as the first winner, the Department of Public Administration as the second winner, and the Department of Communication Science as the third winner. The winner of the Male Tug of War Competition was the Resources Subdivision which was represented by the Undip FISIP Security Guard, followed by the Department of Public Administration, and the Department of Business Administration in third place. The winner of the Women’s Clog Race was the Resources Subdivision in the first place, followed by the Academic & Student Affairs Subdivision in second place, and the FISIP Undip Alumni in third place. The Winner of the Men’s Clog Race was Business Administration in the first place, followed by Public Administration in second place, and Academic & Student Affairs Subdivision in third place. Not to mention, there was a tumpeng-making competition which assessed the creativity and innovation of the participants. It was won by the Resource Subdivision in first place, followed by the Academic & Student Affairs Subdivision in second place, and the Communication Science Department in third place.

The winners of the competition were awarded cash prizes as a form of appreciation. With the implementation of this competition, it is hoped that it can help strengthen friendships and create a sense of kinship and solidarity between alumni, students, dean, lecturers, and employees who work at FISIP Undip.
