Semarang, January 17, 2023 – Officials of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University have carried out ” Fish Stocking” activities in order to celebrate the 54th FISIP Undip Anniversary on January 14, 2023.

It was an annual event to celebrate the anniversary of FISIP Undip. This year, a series of events for the 54th FISIP Undip Anniversary was held in 2 days, namely on January 14, 2023, and January 15, 2023.

One of the special series of events from this year’s celebration is “Fish Stocking” which was held on the first day of FISIP Undip’s anniversary celebration. The type of fish released was tilapia as much as 20kg. The excitement of the event by FISIP Undip Officials was even more complete with the presence of the Mayor of Semarang and IKA FISIP Undip.

The fish stocking ceremony is symbolically a form of support for environmental conservation efforts. However, with regard to the completion of the construction of the FISIP Undip park and pond, the fish stocking ceremony was also held in order to open the facilities and infrastructure at FISIP.

It is hoped that the fish stocking ceremony can increase the concern of the entire FISIP Undip community for the surrounding environment, especially for maintaining cleanliness in FISIP Undip infrastructure facilities.
