Semarang (14/12) – the Department of International Relations Universitas Diponegoro held a Movie Screening activity as a Final Test assignment for the Criminology course in the form of a short film project by IRUD students class of 2021. The event, which took place on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 08:00 to 12:00 GMT+7 at the FISIP Auditorium, was attended by the supporting lecturers, International Relations lecturers and students as well as students from other faculties at Universitas Diponegoro.
The event began with introducing the Master of Ceremony and remarks from the supporting lecturer, Anjani Tri Fatharini, S.IP., M.A. and Muhammad Faiq Adi Pratomo, S.I.P., M.Sc. Without further delay, the event continued with the screening of 11 short films by IRUD’21 students. Enthusiasm was seen from how participants often laughed out loud while watching the movie. To break the ice, the MC invited the participants to chat, especially those from the filmmaking group.
During the chitchat session by the MC, participants always conveyed the moral message of the movie they made. This made the 2022 Criminology Movie Screening event memorable because they were not only entertained but also received motivation to live better by staying away from crime. At the end of the event, participants were encouraged to rate the movies. The event ended with some exercises and closing statements from several lecturers, namely Ika Riswanti Putranti, A.Md.Ak., S.H., M.H., Dr. Dra. Rr. Hermini Susiatiningsih, M.Si., and Anjani Tri Fatharini, S.IP., M.A.
