Semarang (16/9) – The Master of Business Administration program just held a Research Method Workshop with the theme ‘Literature Review Method in Scientific Research. This event presented Prof. Vandana Padnekar-Magal (Grand Valley State University) and was attended by the Chairperson of the Department, Dr. Widiartanto, S.Sos, M.AB, and the Chairperson of the Study Program, Dr. Andi Wijayanto, S.Sos, M.Si.

In his speech, the Chairperson of the Study Program conveyed that the event was aimed to increase students’ knowledge and understanding of how to conduct a literature review in scientific research. Moreover, Prof. Vandana explained several important points related to a literature review, what it played in research and a broad idea of literature review. She also conveyed that a literature review was an active analytical approach. Besides, she emphasized that there had to be a systematic way to do a literature review and a literature review should focus only on the aspects of those studies that were relevant to your purpose.
