“Everyone has the right to get freedom in making achievement, both in academic and non-academic aspects. The most important thing is to have the courage to develop, process, and be responsible for your choices. Focusing on academics is important, but it also needs to be balanced with organizational and social skills,” said Ayu Sabrina, a student of the International Relations Study Program, Faculty of Social Science and Political Science, Universitas Diponegoro who graduated at the 167th Undip Graduation with 3.86 GPA.

Apart from focusing on academic activities, Ayu was also active as a public speaker, was involved in the world of organization and community service, had part-time work, as a content creator, as well as had several internships and was actively engaged in the Merdeka Campus program.

“When I was in college, I once wrote down a dream, ‘I want to travel around Indonesia with achievements I make and I will be very grateful if I can go abroad. As it turns out, Undip was bridging that dream by providing delegation funds for students who want to compete. During my studies at Undip, I had many opportunities to meet new super great people, and participate in reputable and prestigious activities at the national and international levels. Even the lecturers and all Undip educational personnel fully supported the positive activities of their students,” she continued.

Ayu had achieved many achievements, including the Gold Medal “Advanced International Global Competition (AIGC) Singapore” (2019); 1st Place in the National Essay Competition (2019) and 2nd Place in the Central Java-DIY Essay Competition (2019); Central Java Delegation in the “Great Indonesia Leader Summit” (2019); 3rd Winner Essay Competition Voice for Voiceless (2020); 2nd Winner World Humanitarian Day Contest (2020); Youth Exchange Program 3 Weeks and 3 Countries (2020); Indonesian Delegation in the World Peace International Forum (2020); Indonesian Delegation in “The 5th China-ASEAN Youth Summit” (2021); Indonesian Delegation in the “International Students Virtual Mobility Program” (2021); Kampus Mengajar Batch 1 (March – June 2021); Independent Study of Certified New Exporter 4.0 (2021); Resource persons “Free Campus Festival 2021” with the President of the Republic of Indonesia and the Minister of Education and Technology (June 2021); Merdeka Belajar Consortium Student Exchange (KMB-3PT Odd Semester 2020/2021: Undip-Unhas-Unpad); and Recipients of the Merdeka Belajar Untuk Semua Scholarship (Mendikbud Ristek) at Rochester Institute of Technology and Pradita Univeristy (2021).
