Semarang-Jawa Tengah (12/21). Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) became one of 12 universities that won the award as Perguruan Tinggi Peduli Penyiaran. The Central Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) gave their appreciation during the Anugrah KPI 2021 event that was aired on one of the national private television on Friday (17/12)

Rector of Universitas Diponegoro, Prof Dr Yos Johan Utama, SH., M.Hum., conveyed his gratitude for the coronation of Undip as one of several universities that were chosen to be PTN peduli Penyiaran

“Currently, Undip has been included in the world-class university, most of the study programs have been internationally accredited. Nevertheless, Undip still carried out the educational and inspirational local values for the public,” said Prof. Yos

While, Mulyo Hadi Purnomo, the Vice Chairman of KPI, stated that the Anugrah KPI 2021 had been a special achievement. In addition to having to prioritize the quality of broadcast, television, and radio, KPI research did not only provide an assessment of the broadcast programs but also input on broadcast programs that needed any improvement. KPI would pay more attention when there was more input and evaluation.

In line with the Rector, Head of Undip Secretariat and Protocol, Dr Agus Suherman, S.Pi., M.Si., conveyed that Undip had so many platforms and social media as well as the Undip TV youtube channel and the Pro Alma radio.  “It supports the information dissemination of various activities and Undip performance achievement to be faster, applicable and give more benefit for the public,” he concluded.
