Masrokhan Sulaiman Elected As The Chairman Of DPP IKA FISIP Undip In National Conference

Jakarta – In order to reorganize the IKA FISIP Undip, the National Conference (Munas) of the DPP IKA FISIP Undip for the 2021-2024 period coincided at the Auditorium of the Ministry of Industry. The IKA FISIP Undip National Conference which was held hybrid (offline and online) and lasted for approximately 7 hours was attended by 56 guests who came offline. Of course, by undergoing strict health protocols through the antigen swab test process for each participant and committee, it was one of the preventive actions in preventing the transmission of the Covid-19 virus.

This event was a good opportunity for the Undip FISIP Alumni generations, wherein each process of the event had involved friends from the FISIP Undip Student Executive Board who had contributed to the success of the event. So that, it could strengthen the brotherhood among generations.

The main agenda of the 2021 IKA FISIP Undip National Conference was to discuss, select, and determine the new management of the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences for the 2021-2024 period. Through various trials, starting from the presentation of the PP IKA FISIP Undip Accountability Report for the 2017-2021 period, to the decision trial that resulted in several new changes and the development of the main ideas of the existing work programs in the previous period.

Akhmad Muqowam, former Chairman of the DPP IKA FISIP hoped that IKA FISIP would continue to be a forum that moved significantly in a better direction. “IKA FISIP should not be left behind with other alumni. The congress mechanism can be a way to be better in the next management,” he said.

The results of the presentation of the PP IKA FISIP Undip accountability report for the 2017-2021 period stated that during that period various work programs had been carried out such as the construction of the Undip FISIP prayer room, social assistance for FISIP Undip students who were affected by Covid-19, held the Halal Bi Halal event of IKA FISIP Undip, support for FISIP UNDIP students delegation to South Korea, social services by distributing groceries to the residents around the campus, and giving FISIP Undip student scholarship, which had collaborated with Department Student Association and FISIP Undip Student Executive Board, to 20 FISIP Undip students from 5 Study Programs. It had become one of the flagship programs.

Entering the core of the trial, the event resulted in several important decisions regarding the sustainability of the management of the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences 2021 – 2024, including appointing the Dean of FISIP Undip, Hardi Warsono as the Chairman of the Honorary Council, appointing Akhmad Muqowam as the Chairman of the Advisory Board, Wisnu Suhardono as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

In addition, Masrokhan Sulaiman was elected as the Chairman of the Central Manager, Yogi Arief Nugroho as Secretary-General, Yunes Herawati and Lidya Prasajati as Vice Secretary-General, Guspito as General Treasurer and Elyta Very Wijaya as Vice-Treasurer. The results of the trial had also elected Asmono Wikan, Eko Prasetyo, Delly Maulana, Anjar Budiani, Dwi Priyatno as the head representatives of each department.

Masrokhan Sulaiman in his speech said that “The synergy between FISIP Undip alumni and the alma mater we love has been well established and we want to increase this synergy with the existing stakeholders. We must become a forum that can help our younger siblings take part in the world of work.”

This event was closed by tapping the hammer as an official sign of ratification of the change in the management of the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences in 2021 – 2024 after the deliberation and meetings. With the change in the management of IKA FISIP UNDIP this year, we hoped to be able to thrive to get better and move actively by improving the work programs so that we could pursue our goals successfully. – Zahra Hasna & Naufal Abiy
