UNDIP Performance’s The 2nd Best Of PTN-BH League

Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology officially announces the decree of Director, General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology Number: 135/E/KPT/2021 concerning the Award for the Achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU) of State University within the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.

In order to measure the key performance indicators for higher education institutions to be adaptive universities based on a more concrete output, the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology has measured the 2020/2021 Key Performance Indicators of State Universities as well as determined the Award of the Achievement of Key Performance Indicators of State Universities. The categories in this award are IKU PTN-BH league, IKU PTN-BLU league, IKU PTN Satker league, IKU PTN Satker PTN of Arts Group league, Award for Excellence IKU PTN-BH, Award for Excellence IKU PTN-BLU, and Award for Excellence IKU PTN Sarker.

Universitas Diponegoro is in the 2nd position and attains the award for the Key Performance Indicators (IKU) achievement with the total point attained is 70, growth point is 673, position: High, 10%.

Key Performance Indicators (IKU) is a performance measurement for adaptive universities which based on more concrete output. It becomes the benchmark in accelerating the implementation of Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Belajar. Every Higher Education Institution and Higher Education Service Institution that are in the scope of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology should refer to the key performance indicators while determining the IKU target, composing contract documents or performance agreement, carrying out the IKU, IKU monitoring, IKU evaluation, continuous improvement of IKU, as well as making a report of the IKU achievement result.

The latest IKU that is stipulated in the Decree of Minister of Education and Culture Number 3/M/2021 has 8 key indicators, namely: 1) the quality of graduates that is measured by the graduates with decent jobs, 2) students get the off-campus experiences. 3) the quality of lecturers and instructors that are measured by the lecturers’ off-campus activities, 4) practitioners who teach on campus, 5) the lecturers’ works that are used by the public and get international recognition, 6) study programs in cooperation with world-class partners, 7) collaborative and participatory class, as well as 8) study programs with international standard.

Meanwhile, the IKU principles, namely improving the relevance of higher education institutions with the need of the industry, business world, and the world of the work gives freedom for higher education institutions to choose the advantages that they want to develop, and prioritize goals so that universities can focus on pursuing the changes that matter the most.

The Rector of Universitas Diponegoro, Prof .Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum, conveyed his gratitude to all parties, academicians, alumni, and the big family of Undip for the achievement. “it is a reflection of the quality of the graduates, lecturers, and Undip curriculum which are getting better”, said Prof Yos during the Universitas Diponegoro’s 64th Dies Natalis event that was held hybrid on Friday(15/10) at UNDIP Tembalang Prof. Soedarto, SH campus building. “the achievement also proves that Undip is one of the top universities in Indonesia”, he concluded.
