Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) has made another achievement at the National level. This achievement was marked by successfully passing 37 PKM (Student Creativity Program) teams to the Final of 34th National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS) of 2021.
This is stated in Letter Number 2200/J3/KM.02.13/2021 regarding the Announcement and Invitation of the 34th PIMNAS Participants of 2021 on September 28, 2021, which was signed by the Acting Officer. Head of the National Achievement Center, Asep Sukmayadi.
With 37 PKM teams, Universitas Diponegoro is ranked 5th nationally based on the number of scientific titles that have successfully qualified for the Final of 34th PIMNAS. This achievement is in line with the Vision of Universitas Diponegoro to become an Excellent Research University.
Rector of Universitas Diponegoro, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., expressed his gratitude to all parties and the entire Undip’s academic community for the achievement and in supporting Undip’s vision to become an Excellent Research University.
“This is a reflection of the quality of Undip students who are getting better, more creative, high achiever, have superior competencies and are highly competitive. And I hope that Undip’s students will succeed in obtaining the best results and be able to bring the name of Diponegoro at the 34th National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS) of 2021,” said Prof Yos (30/9/2021).
This year, PKM is implemented in 5 types of fields, namely; The Field of Exact Research or the Field of Social Humanities Research (PKM-RE or PKM-RSH), the Field of Entrepreneurship (PKM-K), the Field of Community Service (PKM-PM), the Field of Application of Science and Technology (PKM-PI), and the Field of Creative Creation (PKM). -KC). In addition, there are also 3 categories of ideas, namely: PKM Constructive Futuristic Ideas (PKM-GFK), PKM Written Ideas (PKM-GT), and PKM Scientific Articles (PKM-AI).
Undip itself succeeded in passing 37 PKM titles consisting of 5 types of fields and 1 category of ideas. The distribution of the Undip PKM Team that passed the 34th PIMNAS based on the types of fields and categories of PKM ideas is as follows:
- PKM Social Humanities Research: 5 titles
- PKM Exact Research: 12 titles
- PKM Application of Science and Technology: 1 title
- PKM Community Service: 9 titles
- PKM Creative Creation: 2 titles
- PKM Entrepreneurship: 7 titles
- PKM Constructive Futuristic Ideas: 1 title
The Undip’s PKM team came from various faculties at Universitas Diponegoro, with details of 17 teams from the Faculty of Engineering, 4 teams from Faculty of Science and Mathematics, 4 teams from Faculty of Economics and Business, 3 teams from Faculty of Medicine, 3 teams from Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture, 2 teams from Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, 1 team from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, 1 team from the Faculty of Public Health, 1 team from the Psychology Faculty, and 1 team from the Cultural Sciences Faculty.
As previously known, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology through the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas) will hold the 34th National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS) of 2021 in collaboration with the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) as the host of the 34th PIMNAS.
The National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS) activities are a series of activities that are inseparable from the implementation of the Student Creativity Program (PKM) that had been carried out and through the stage of the online PKM Implementation Activity Assessment (PKP2) of 2021, and there had been selected several PKM teams whose works are included in PIMNAS.
In general, there are 735 PKM titles that have passed to compete at the National level at the 34th PIMNAS event which will be held online on October 25-29, 2021 using the Zoom meeting platform. It will be broadcasted via live streaming on the USU’s Official Social Network Youtube channel.
