Reporting from the https://www.topuniversities.com/employability-rankings/methodology, Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) for the 2022 Graduate Employability Rankings category used 5 performance indicators to calculate the ranking of the world universities. Based on the data calculated by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) for the 2022 Graduate Employability Rankings category, Universitas Diponegoro obtained points from each indicator, namely: Employer Reputation (14.4), Alumni Outcomes (12.0), Employer-Student Connections (84.2), Partnerships with Employers ( 6.4), and Graduate Employment Rate (96.5).

With that very strict assessment, only 8 universities in Indonesia were able to enter the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) category in the 2022 Graduate Employability Rankings. These universities were dominated by State Universities. The rankings were Universitas Diponegoro, Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Airlangga, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Universitas Bina Nusantara, dan Universitas Brawijaya.

As for the World level, based on the results of Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) in the 2022 Graduate Employability Rankings category, placing the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the first position. The college, located in the City of Cambridge, recorded a perfect total score of 100 points. Sticking to the second place was Stanford University with a total score of 99.3 points. While the third place was secured by the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a total score of 99.1 points.

Rector of Universitas Diponegoro, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., expressed his gratitude to all parties and the entire Undip family for the achievement and in supporting Undip’s progress towards a World Class University. “This is a reflection of the quality of Undip graduates who are getting better, easier to absorb in the workforce, and are globally competitive,” said Prof Yos in an interview on Thursday (23/9/2021).

The results of that ranking had become the benchmark used by prospective new students and their families in determining universities. It was also used by universities themselves to determine the next policy direction to continue to improve the quality of their graduates.
