Universitas Diponegoro Communication Science is one of the most popular majors. The high interest of the younger generation in Communication Science is partly due to the development of the media and communication industry which talks a lot about information, communication, and data. The mission of the Undip Communications Department is to organize higher education in communication science based on quality assurance, to conduct communication science teaching based on the latest developments in communication science and professions, to conduct research in the field of communication science and to publish it nationally and internationally, to serve the community by utilizing the scientific competence and communication technology for community empowerment and make efforts to strengthen the networks and reputations in the national and international scope.

“ Universitas Diponegoro is one of the best universities in Indonesia with a learning atmosphere that I think is very conducive, with the pleasant atmosphere of the city of Semarang with facilities and culinary foods that are relatively cheap from other big cities. I am happy and grateful to have this opportunity. Moreover, previously I have estimated the quota and the possibility of comparison in the Communication Science study program, which was very tight,” said Nasya Alyalina Dita, a graduate student of SMA Negeri 3 South Tangerang, who passed the Joint Selection for State University Entrance (SBMPTN) Universitas Diponegoro with the choice of the Communication Science Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) UNDIP.

“Communication Science became my choice because I fell in love and was interested in the world of communication media and all things related to it. So, I wanted to understand more about the science, including human relations in the social sphere in society, from language to mass and digital media,” she continued.

“We can’t change the past, but surely we can change the future. Even though the education sector has been running online for more than a year, don’t let that stop us from making ourselves productive with useful things and preparing supplies for the future. Do something that will make your future self thank you for” concluded Nasya. (Linda Public Relations)
