Universitas Diponegoro will hold a Computer-Based Written Test (UTBK) for the 2021 student admission through the Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SBMPTN) line. The test will be held on April 12th to April 30th, 2021, and are spread across several campus. In 2021, the seat capacity (in 28 sessions) will be for 30,380 participants. Meanwhile, the number of the UTBK registrants at Undip was 25,302 with details of the scientific program as many as 12,681, for social studies as many as 11,971 and SOSHUM as many as 650 registrants.
Undip’s Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Budi Setiyono, S.Sos., M.Pol., Admin., Ph.D. explained that many preparations have been done well. Such as, checking the availability of the rooms, computers, facilities including the health protocols, as well as the room inspectors and medical workers. “We have conducted several simulations for this implementation,” said Prof. Budi.
This year, the Undip UTBK center had opened the admission for blind participants, yet there is no registrant listed. Meanwhile, there had been 4 participants with disabilities whose test locations will be held at the library of Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) UNDIP.
In the implementation of the UTBK, Undip will hold 24 sessions only, dated on April 12th to April 19th, and April 26th to April 30th, 2021. There will be 390 participants at the Undip Pleburan campus every day (2 sessions), while at the Undip Tembalang campus there will be 1,980 participants (2 sessions) for each day.
The implementation of the exam will strictly carry out the health protocol as regulated by the Higher Education Admission Test Institute (LTMPT). Dr. Ir. Setia Budi Sasongko, DEA as the Chairperson of the LP2MP Undip in an interview on Tuesday (6/4) explained, “For the implementation of the 2021 UTBK starting on April 12th, Undip will carry out the health protocols that have been regulated by the LTMPT”.
Furthermore, Sasongko explained that some preparations have been made. Such as, the sink for washing hands that is placed outside the building for the participants to wash their hands before entering the room. The officer will check the body temperature for each participant and the committee. Also, the medical workers from RSND will also be on guard during the UTBK.
The participants who are allowed to join the 2021 UTBK are those who graduate in 2019, 2020, and 2021 from the secondary education level (Senior High School/ MA / Vocational School and the equivalent), as well as the graduates of the C Package in 2019, 2020, and 2021 with a maximum age of 25 years.
