SEMARANG-Every community service was expected to be well recorded and structured. So that, it could be traced by the lecturers and students who would continue their services in a village. This program was developed by the Kuliah Kerja Nyata Service Center (P2KKN) Universitas Diponegoro Semarang.
“Now there is a Trecer Study which can check the alumni anywhere they had been. The P2KKN can develop a service tracer by creating a data bank of what had been done during the service, whether the service was successful or not, there will be the data which can be tracked by the next participants regarding the activities done in the village,” said the Head of the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM), Prof. Jamari, ST, MT during the releasing ceremony of the Team I KKN students 2021 on a webinar in Semarang, Monday (4/1/2021).
The Head of the P2KKN, Fahmi Arifan, ST, M.Eng, stated that his staff had prepared a digital form for the reports made by the students. This digital reporting was also for the periodic monitoring of the KKN supervisors.
“We have prepared a digital report form facility for the KKN students and lecturers’ reports. The reports, then, will be published in an online media and can be accessed,” he said.
In the Team I Community Service Program (KKN) in 2021, 2717 students were deployed in 30 provinces in Indonesia from Aceh to West Papua. They were divided in 186 cities / regencies from January, 4th to February, 16th, 2021.
Meanwhile, the Rector of Universitas Diponegoro, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, SH, MH whised that every KKN student caould give their best for the society. “This opportunity should be benficial for everyone, remember that those who help the others is like helping all mankind. This is an opportunity for the state and the Indonesian people,” he concluded.
In addition, the Undip Rector emphasized that KKN students Universitas Diponegoro should be serious during their community service program. “Give the best, we never know what may happen tomorrow, all we can do is just to give our best for today,” he said.
