Concentration Class 2026: “Strategies for Understanding Study Specialization for Government Studies Students”

On Saturday, May 23, 2026, the Research and Academic Affairs Division of the Student Association of the Government Studies Program successfully held the Concentration Class work program. This work program took place in the Auditorium Room, 3rd Floor, Building A, FISIP Undip. This event was specifically organized as a preparatory session for 4th-semester students to assist them in choosing their concentration or study specialization. This study specialization will be beneficial in helping with the thesis writing process, final projects, and determining students’ future careers. The Concentration Class activity commenced at 13:00 and ended at 14:40 WIB.

The Concentration Class activity was carried out successfully and smoothly. This activity served as a study platform for 4th-semester students to deepen their respective specializations. The event was officially opened by the MCs, Nayyara Septia Ramadhani and Rachma Latifa Dewi. The activity began with the singing of the Indonesian national anthem “Indonesia Raya” and the Diponegoro March as a form of respect and to instill a sense of nationalism and campus identity. The series of events continued with a speech from the Chairperson of the Concentration Class Implementation (Tsalitsa Aslikhatunnaja), followed by a speech from the Chairperson of the Student Association of the Government Studies Program (Rexza Taofik Ananda), and a speech from the Head of the Government Studies Program, represented by the Program Secretary (Bangkit Aditya Wiryawan, S.Sos., M.A., Ph.D.).

The main event, which was the material presentation by Bangkit Aditya Wiryawan, S.Sos., M.A., Ph.D., was conducted interactively and informatively. Participants were given explanations regarding the various concentrations within the Government Studies Program, such as Government Policy, Governance, and Electoral Politics. Participant enthusiasm was also evident during the question-and-answer session, which was active and communicative. Through the successful implementation of the Concentration Class 2026, it is hoped that Government Studies students will gain a clearer picture of the concentration choices that align with their interests, abilities, and future academic goals.
