Semarang (07/05) — Efforts to strengthen academic networks and enhance the quality of higher education continue to be pursued through various inter-institutional collaborations. One of these initiatives was realized through a collaboration exploration meeting between the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) and FISIP Universitas Musamus (Unmus), held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Senate Meeting Room of FISIP Undip, Tembalang Campus, Semarang.
The meeting served as a strategic discussion forum for both institutions to explore various opportunities for academic cooperation, particularly in the development of Public Administration study programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In addition to strengthening institutional relations, the meeting also provided a platform for sharing experiences and best practices in higher education management.
The delegation from FISIP Universitas Musamus was led by Dr. AP. Yohanis Endes Teturan, M.Si, Head of the Master’s Program in Public Administration, accompanied by Dr. AP. Edoardus E. Maturbongs, M.Si and Dr. Ransta L. Lekatompessy, M.Sc, lecturers of the Master’s Program in Public Administration. The delegation was welcomed by department and study program representatives from FISIP Undip.
In her remarks, the Dean of FISIP Undip, represented by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, S. Rouli Manalu, S.Sos., MCommSt., PhD., expressed appreciation and a warm welcome to the delegation from FISIP Universitas Musamus. She conveyed her hope that the meeting would mark the beginning of a closer and more sustainable collaboration in the fields of academics, research, and institutional development.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Master’s Program in Public Administration at Universitas Musamus, Dr. AP. Yohanis Endes Teturan, M.Si, explained that the visit aimed to follow up on and further explore the cooperation that had previously been established between the two institutions. He also emphasized the importance of deepening discussions on various issues and challenges faced in study program management through collaboration with FISIP Undip.
“We intend to gain deeper insight into the challenges we are facing so that we can collaborate and learn together with FISIP Undip,” he stated.
During the interactive discussion session, both parties explored several potential areas of collaboration that could be developed in the future. Key topics discussed included the organization of international seminars, the development of innovation classes, curriculum discussions for undergraduate and postgraduate Public Administration programs, as well as opportunities for implementing distance learning initiatives.
Through this meeting, it is hoped that the partnership between FISIP Undip and FISIP Universitas Musamus will continue to grow and contribute meaningfully to the enhancement of higher education quality, human resource development, and the strengthening of academic networks among universities in Indonesia.
