HERVOICE 2026: Voice Your Aspirations, Realize Women’s Empowerment

Semarang, April 21, 2026 – The Department of Advocacy and Student Welfare of the Student Executive Board (BEM) FISIP, Universitas Diponegoro, successfully organized HERVOICE 2026. Themed “Woman Empowerment,” the event coincided with the commemoration of Kartini Day. Held at the FISIP Undip Parking Hall, the event was attended by 50 participants, the majority of whom were female students.

HERVOICE serves as a platform for students to voice concerns regarding women’s issues within the campus environment. Through the interactive HERVOICE Wall, participants shared their experiences, opinions, and hopes regarding safety and gender equality. Additionally, an educational campaign featuring advocacy posters and digital media was held to raise awareness among the academic community about the importance of creating safe spaces with a gender-sensitive perspective.

The Chairperson, Monita Pradhipta Salma, stated that this activity serves not only as a space for dialogue but also as a concrete step in encouraging students to find their voice. ‘HERVOICE is expected to provide policy recommendations for a campus that is more inclusive and responsive to women’s issues,’ she remarked.

With the full support of the faculty advisors and the leadership of BEM FISIP, HERVOICE 2026 has successfully become a participatory movement that strengthens women’s empowerment practices within the academic environment. The documentation of the gathered aspirations will serve as evaluation material to support the creation of a safe, inclusive campus, free from violence against women.
