Semarang (7/10) – Doctoral of Social Science study program, Faculty of Political and Social Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro has just held a Guest Lecture with the theme Building a Habitus for Writing International Journal Articles. The activity, which took place on Friday, October 7, 2022, started at 15.30 GMT+7 and presented a speaker from the Universitas Islam Indonesia, Masduki, Ph.D. This Guest Lecture was attended by 30 participants and was held offline via Zoom meeting.

In his material, Masduki conveyed several things about how we got the Golden Moment to write and make habits that must be done. He also said that writing for academic works and international journals was a long journey. In addition, this lecturer from Universitas Islam Indonesia explained that a good journal article was the one that invited the readers to have a dialogue. This could be seen from the abstract and the diction used. Furthermore, he suggested that writing an article required commitment to the goal, being faithful to the process, and maintaining an optimistic mindset.
