Grand Activity of Sport 2025: “Be A Winner In Every Challenge”

The Department of Interest and Talent of the Business Administration Student Association (HMPS Administrasi Bisnis) at FISIP Undip has successfully concluded the Grand Activity of Sport 2025 (GAS). This annual sporting event brilliantly fused the spirit of competition with camaraderie among students from different academic years. The week-long event took place from Friday, October 3rd to Thursday, October 9th, 2025, with various matches held across multiple premier venues, including Brave Arena, Wakiki Badminton Hall, Undip Futsal Stadium, Crown, Press Start ID, and Burjo Kane.

The activity was designed to facilitate the interests and talents of Business Administration students in the field of sports, while simultaneously strengthening solidarity across cohorts. Furthermore, the Grand Activity of Sport served as a platform to foster a culture of achievement and healthy competition, encouraging students to remain active and productive beyond their academic pursuits.

The event attracted approximately 300 participants from the Business Administration classes of 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, supported by 29 organizing committee members from the Business Administration HMPS. Each cohort participated with high sportsmanship across a diverse range of sports, encompassing both conventional and e-sport categories.

GAS 2025 commenced on October 3rd with the opening of the Basketball tournament at Brave Arena, followed by a series of competitive matches leading up to the closing and award night on October 9th. Each sport was held at a specialized location tailored to its needs, from professional futsal courts to fully-equipped e-sport arenas.

This year’s GAS featured competitions in three physical sports—Basketball, Futsal, and Badminton—along with Mobile Legend and FIFA (E-Football) for the e-sport category, and a Billiard tournament. All categories proceeded through lively elimination rounds, semi-finals, and finals. The event ran smoothly, marked by immense enthusiasm from both participants and spectators.

The various cohorts showcased their best performances. Business Administration 2023 emerged as the overall champion, securing victories in several major categories, including futsal and basketball. The 2022 and 2024 cohorts also celebrated notable achievements in badminton and billiard. The event culminated in an award ceremony to honor the winners and recognize the committee members whose contributions were instrumental to the event’s success.

The Grand Activity of Sport 2025 was more than just a competition; it was a tangible testament that competitive spirit and solidarity can go hand in hand. Through this event, students not only honed their athletic abilities but also built strong cooperation, discipline, and a powerful sense of fellowship across academic years. Embodying the theme “Be a Winner in Every Challenge,” GAS 2025 stands as a symbol that every student has the potential to be a winner, not only in the sporting arena but also in facing the challenges of campus life.
