Semarang (11/12) – Effective management of facilities and infrastructure plays a vital role in supporting teaching and learning activities in higher education institutions. To enhance such management, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Andalas conducted a benchmarking visit to the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. The visit took place in the Senate Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Building A, FISIP Undip Campus, Tembalang.
The delegation from FISIP Universitas Andalas, led by Vice Dean II, Dr. Yevita Nurti, M.Si., was warmly welcomed by Vice Dean of Resources at FISIP Undip, Ika Riswanti Putranti, S.H., M.H., Ph.D. In her remarks, Dr. Yevita Nurti, M.Si., stated that the purpose of the visit was to learn about financial management, facility and infrastructure governance, as well as risk management in the financial sector implemented at FISIP Undip. “We aim to learn, particularly about financial management, how financial governance is carried out at the Faculty, as well as the management of facilities and infrastructure,” she explained.
The visit aimed to share experiences and best practices in facility and infrastructure management applied by both institutions. The engaging and constructive discussions were expected to provide new insights for both parties in enhancing the quality of academic and administrative services within their respective faculties.
Through this visit, FISIP Universitas Andalas and FISIP Universitas Diponegoro demonstrated their commitment to fostering synergy in collectively improving institutional governance quality in higher education across Indonesia.
