Semarang, December 2, 2024 – Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) proudly celebrates another global achievement. Christopher Fabian Polo, a student from the Communication Science Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), has successfully completed the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) program at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.

The IISMA program, initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), provides Indonesian students with the opportunity to study at some of the world’s leading universities. Christopher Fabian Polo stood out as one of the select few who showcased the capability and determination to excel on the global stage.

During the program, Christopher not only took courses that enhanced his expertise in communication science but also actively participated in international activities such as cross-cultural seminars, collaborative projects with global peers, and community service initiatives. “This opportunity was a transformative experience, broadening my perspective on global communication and building networks with students from diverse backgrounds,” Christopher shared.

The Dean of FISIP UNDIP, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol. Admin, expressed his appreciation for Christopher’s accomplishment. “This achievement is a testament to the quality of our Communication Science students in adapting and excelling in international environments.
