Semarang, November 18, 2024 – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) welcomed a visit today from PB Soedirman High School, Cijantung. A total of 31 male students, accompanied by three teachers, participated in this visit, where they were warmly received by the faculty’s lecturers and staff.
During the visit, the students showed great enthusiasm and paid close attention to presentations delivered by lecturers from various departments within FISIP. Their interest became even more evident as several students actively asked questions about study programs, admission requirements, and career prospects in the fields of social and political sciences. These inquiries highlighted the students’ strong interest in pursuing higher education at FISIP Undip.
Indarwati, a teacher representative from PB Soedirman High School, expressed her delight with the warm welcome extended by FISIP Undip. “We are very pleased to have the opportunity to visit this faculty. Hopefully, this visit inspires our students to continue their education at a higher level, particularly at FISIP Undip,” she remarked.
This visit is part of a series of school visits to FISIP Undip throughout November, during which six other schools are also scheduled to visit. The significant number of school visits each month reflects FISIP Undip’s position as one of the most sought-after faculties among high school students from various regions.
Through such visits, FISIP Undip not only introduces its flagship programs but also strengthens its connection with prospective students, provides a tangible glimpse of academic life, and motivates young generations to pursue higher education.
