On October 16, 2024, a delegation from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip), led by the Dean, Dr. Teguh Yuwono, along with Government Studies faculty members, Bangkit A. Wiryawan and Aniello Iannone, visited the Università di Napoli L’Orientale in Naples, Italy. This visit aimed to further collaboration following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Semarang in June.

The collaboration seeks to enhance academic ties between the two universities through various exchange programs and joint research initiatives. One primary focus of this partnership is a student exchange program, particularly through the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (ISMA). This program provides students from both universities the opportunity to study abroad, deepen their knowledge, and broaden their international perspectives.

Beyond the exchange program, the collaboration also includes joint research involving faculty members from both institutions. The research aims to make significant contributions to the fields of social and political sciences and foster closer academic cooperation between Indonesia and Italy.
