Detrina Sabda Nugraha, a student of the Faculty of Social Science and Political Science, Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang was unstoppable in making more achievements. He had travelled as a karate athlete since he was a kid until he was then in college. There were so many well-known big events he had followed from the national to the international level.

It was no wonder that his hobby had led him to represent Indonesia in prestigious championships as well as the achievements that had made the alma mater proud of him. In June 2022, he won 2nd place (Men’s Senior Team Kata) in the Garuda Open Championship III Karate National Championship.

“Studying at Undip helps me to have a wider friendship. It has also become a medium for establishing relationships for business opportunities. Apart from studying, I also focus on training, giving training, and participating in competitions, business and trading. I have participated in many karate competitions, including the Provincial Sports Week, National Sports Week, South East Asia Karate and Asia Karate Federation,” said this Communication Science student.

According to Detrin, education was important to broaden the mind and insight but joining organizations was one way to open wider relationships. (Lin-PR)
