In order to support academic activities, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro (FISIP UNDIP) will hold a Guest Lecturer on quantitative research methods in the applications of public administration studies. This Guest Lecturer is expected to be an academic tool for the academic community of FISIP UNDIP in an effort to develop competence in scientific knowledge and research in higher education, in accordance with the potential of human resources, research facilities, and available development facilities. Under the theme of the workshop “Application of Quantitative Methods in Public Administration Research”, this Guest Lecturer is expected to add to the repertoire of knowledge and deepen understanding of quantitative research methods.

This activity will also encourage the Tridharma of Higher Education activities in terms of research and scientific writing. These two things are certainly a requirement for students to graduate by writing a thesis. By holding this activity, it is hoped that it can encourage students to start compiling research proposals either regarding their thesis or other research. Therefore, this is expected to encourage lecturers to actively carry out research and scientific publications both at the national and international levels.
