Almost every year, Universitas Diponegoro welcomes new students, one of which is by holding the Young Diponegoro Orientation (ODM) which was initiated by the Human Resources Development (PSDM) sector of the Undip Student Executive Board (BEM). ODM’s goals include instilling a love for the homeland, pride in Undip’s almameter, understanding the values ​​of Pancasila and the noble values ​​of Prince Diponegoro, and forming strong and excellent characters to become excellent graduates.

“Young Diponegoro Orientation or ODM is an official welcoming activity for new students to educate and instil Diponegoro values so that they can become strong, intelligent, and adaptive students. This year’s ODM theme is Socio-Technology, with the background of changing times and rapid technological advances. So it is hoped that Young Diponegoro as the next generation of the nation can be smart and wise in utilizing and living together with technology. It is time for us to prepare a smart, superior generation in accordance with Undip’s profile, namely COMPLETE, Communicative, Professional, Leader, Entrepreneur, Thinker and Educator. So that, it can be useful for Undip and Indonesia,” said Ichwan Nugraha Budjang, as the Chairman of the 2021 Young Diponegoro Orientation Committee.

“The implementation of 2021 ODM is carried out virtually through the UNDIP ODM Youtube channel, attractively packaged starting from Talkshows, Masterpiece Arts Performances by Undip students and entertainment performances from Indonesian Guest Star musicians. We hope that this year’s ODM can be our creative channel and a very memorable ceremony for the new students. So that, Young Diponegoro can take implied and explicit messages in the implementation of ODM, “he said.
