SEMARANG – The Master Study Programs (Prodi) at Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) open submission for prospective new students of the 2021/2022 Academic Year through the selection of the Postgraduate Independent Test and Undip Profession Program. There are 39 Master Study Programs that can be chosen as a place for further study, while the registration schedule starts from April 7th to July 1st, 2021.

The independent test selection will be carried out along with the postgraduate and profession program entrance test on July 18th, 2021. Meanwhile, the results of the entrance test will be announced on July 24th, 2021. The material that is going to be tested by LP2MP (Institute for Development and Education Quality Assurance) as the organizer of the independent test is in the form of Academic Potential Test (TPA), and English Language Test. The Scientific Substance Test will be carried out through interviews and in writing by each study program.

Among 39 Master Study Programs at Undip, 9 of them are multi-entry study programs or accept prospective students from various disciplines. The nine study programs are Master in Public Administration (MAP), Master in Economics (ME), Master in Psychology MPsi), Master in Communication (Mikom), Master in Environmental Sciences (MIL), Master in Political Science (MIP), Master in Management (MM), Master in Health Promotion (MPK), and Master in Business Administration (Mabis). Even though they are opened for various discipline, there are some additional requirements that must be met.

In the MIL Study Program, the special requirement for those from different scientific fields is that prospective students should already have experience of working in the environmental sphere; while, Master in economics considers the work background of the prospective students who come from scientific fields besides the economics. Meanwhile, the Master of Health Promotion implements a matriculation program for students from other disciplines.

Furthermore, the general requirements to enter the Master Study Programs at Undip are those who are the Graduates of Undergraduate Degree and 4-year Diploma, have a minimum GPA of 2.75 from an accredited University (except for Master of Notary and Linguistics which require a GPA of 3.0); Degree Certificate and transcripts, Academic recommendations from 2 persons (may be the Undergraduate, D4 / direct supervisor who have minimum qualifications of Master Degree); those who are already working must obtain a permit from the institution; as well as submitting the initial proposal or projections and an overview of the research that will be taken for the thesis.

The procedure for registering the Master and Profession Study Programs at Undip requires the use of an email account; participants choose the UM S2 / UM PROFESI, pay a registration fee of IDR 750 thousand at the designated bank (Bank BNI, Bank BRI, Bank BTN, Bank Mandiri); upload the documents in pdf format; print out the exam card and take the exam online. Beside the 9 multi-entry study programs mentioned above, other Master Programs at Undip that open the registration in the science category are Master in Agribusiness (MAgr), Master in Animal Husbandry, Master in Biology, Master in Epidemiology, Master in Physics, Master in Chemistry, Master in Mathematics, Master in Biomedical Science, Master in Marine Science, Master in Environmental Health, Master in Public Health, Master in Psychological Nursing, Master in Information Systems, Master in Energy, and Master in Coastal Resources. In the Faculty of Engineering there are Master in Architecture, Master in Electrical Engineering, Master in Chemical Engineering, Master in Mechanical Engineering, Master in Civil Engineering, Master in Environmental Engineering, and Master in Engineering and Industrial Management.

Meanwhile, in the social and humanities group, there are Master in Accounting (MAks), Master in Humanities, Master in Linguistics (MLi), Master in History, Master in Law, and Master in Notary. (PR team)
