The Department of Social and Politics, HMPS Government Science, UNDIP, successfully held the “Belajar Bareng Sospol” program on May 10, 2026. The event, themed “Power of Voice: Turning Words into Influence,” was attended by approximately 40 participants and aimed to enhance students’ communication and public speaking skills.
Featuring Raynajwa Salma Amalia Rizquna as the speaker and Alariq Xavier as the moderator, this seminar provided insights into the importance of public speaking as a vital skill in academic, organizational, and professional life. Participants were guided to understand various effective communication techniques, build self-confidence, and convey ideas clearly, structurally, and persuasively.

In addition to the material presentation, the event also included an interactive and engaging public speaking practice session. Through this session, participants had the opportunity to directly apply what they had learned, thereby improving their ability to speak in front of an audience and honing their skills in expressing opinions more effectively.
Through the “Belajar Bareng Sospol” activity, it is hoped that all participants will not only understand public speaking theories formally but also be able to realize and apply them in daily life. This activity is expected to boost self-confidence, communication skills, and the ability to express opinions clearly and structurally in public. Furthermore, participants are expected to develop critical thinking, argumentation skills, and the courage to convey ideas and thoughts whether in organizational, academic, or community settings. Thus, the knowledge and experience gained during the activity can provide real benefits and serve as valuable preparation for participants in facing various future challenges.
