Visit of the Central Management of the Alumni Association of FISIP Undip: Improving Coordination of Alumni and Faculty Work Programs

Semarang, (10/03) – The Central Management of the Alumni Association (IKA) of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Diponegoro University (Undip) conducted a visit to the campus on Sunday, March 10, 2024. This activity aims to coordinate work programs between alumni and the Faculty, Departments, and Study Programs.

The event took place in the Auditorium of Building D, FISIP Undip, and was attended by officials of IKA FISIP Undip from various generations, the Dean of FISIP Undip, the Vice Dean of Resources of FISIP Undip, Faculty Members of FISIP Undip, as well as representatives of Student Organizations within FISIP Undip. This meeting is an important momentum to strengthen the synergy between alumni and academic institutions to support the future development of FISIP Undip.

The Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol. Admin, welcomed the visit from the IKA management and stated the importance of the role of alumni in supporting the progress of FISIP Undip, highlighted the achievements of the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of FISIP Undip as well as plans for the construction of new buildings on the Tembalang campus and the Postgraduate campus.

One of the main points on the agenda of this visit was the discussion of joint work programs between IKA Fisip Undip and academic institutions. The alumni provided valuable input and suggestions to improve the quality of education and advance FISIP Undip as an excellent educational institution.

In addition to discussing the work program, this activity is also a gathering place between alumni as well as a means to strengthen the kinship between them.

This visit is expected to be the first step in increasing closer collaboration between alumni and FISIP Undip. Strong synergy between two parties is expected to make positive contribution to the development and progress of FISIP Undip in the future.
