Semarang (28/2) – In February, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Diponegoro University (Undip) had special guests from four different schools. SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta, MAN 1 Malang City, MAN 1 Jember, and SMK Prima Unggul Tangerang enriched the campus atmosphere with their spirit of knowledge and curiosity. This visit was a meeting point between the students’ future aspirations and the educational opportunities FISIP Undip offers.

The Head of the Student Achievement Unit, Agus Naryoso, S.Sos., M.Si., together with the Staff of Vice Dean 2, Dinalestari Purbawati, S.E., M.Si., Akt., warmly welcomed the arrival of the students. “FISIP Undip provides the best education and is ready to lead friends to the most brilliant future,” said Mas Gusnar. They opened the opportunity for discussion and insight into the study programs available at FISIP and their excellence, admission pathways, scholarship opportunities, international programs, job prospects after graduation, and various other important information.

In addition to listening directly from competent speakers, such as lecturers from various study programs, the students were also taken on a campus tour. This tour not only aims to get to know the campus infrastructure and facilities available, but also to introduce them to the dynamic campus life and interact with FISIP students.

After the visit, several students from each school had the opportunity to be interviewed by the FISIP social media team. This interview aims to understand how much interest they have in continuing their education at FISIP Undip. The lecturers also took advantage of this opportunity to establish good relationships with teachers from these schools, in the hope of getting more information about prospective students who are interested in continuing their education at FISIP Undip.

This visit is not only an opportunity for students to obtain information about higher education but also one of the promotional strategies of FISIP Undip in attracting high school graduates to choose FISIP as their first step in undergoing higher education.
