Semarang (17/3), Universitas Diponegoro’s Faculty of Social and Political Sciences has just launched the Healthy Campus program, namely FISIP Bergerak (Morning Gymnastics) and Free Medical Check-up which was in collaboration with Rowosari Community Health Center. The FISIP Healthy Campus Launching Agenda was a joint morning gymnastics activity that preceded a series of Healthy Campus programs on Friday, March 17, 2023, at 06.00 GMT+7.
Also presented in this Morning Gymnastics activity were the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Hardi Warsono, MT, Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol. Admin., Vice Dean for Resources, Ika Riswanti Putranti, PhD, lecturers, educational staff, and students within the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro.
In a series of launch activities of FISIP Healthy Campus, the entire academic community of FISIP Undip also had the opportunity to get a free medical check-up ( Blood Pressure, Blood Glucose, and Uric Acid) provided by the Rowosari Community Health Center.
The Chairperson of the FISIP Undip Healthy Campus Team, Anis Qomariah, S.A.B., M.Ling explained that the Healthy Campus program had been running since February 2023. The previous Healthy Campus event was only a trial and the response from the academic community was considered good. Therefore, it was launched this March. This activity began with gymnastics, healthy meals, and medical check-ups. There was also a badminton event in the evening (7/3 at 17.00 GMT+7).
The lecturer of the Department of Business Administration also said that the target participants last month were 100 participants. So she expected there would be 200 participants in this month’s program. However, we can only provide 100 health test kits. The plans for the Healthy Campus Fisip Program in the future are gymnastics which will be held twice a week and Posbindu (integrated guidance post) which will be held once a month. Besides, the team will also revive activities that used to exist such as badminton. Moreover, they will add tools for the health tests because there are only one hundred tools available, as well as campaigns related to K3 (occupational safety and health), environmental hygiene, non-smoking areas, and healthy canteens.
In addition to presenting the programs, the lecturer who is also known as Anis added that the Healthy campus unit would create a support group for fellow students who were having difficulty working on assignments such as research and thesis.
