Semarang, November 11, 2025 – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Diponegoro University achieved a proud achievement by winning third place in the “Carnival: Praise UNDIP’s Achievements” event, which was part of the closing ceremony for Diponegoro University’s 68th Anniversary.
This carnival was held on Tuesday morning November 11th, 2025 along Jalan Widya Puraya UNDIP Tembalang, featuring a creative parade from all faculties within Diponegoro University. This year, FISIP UNDIP presented a theatrical concept titled “De-Radicalization: Weaving Harmony in Diversity.”

This colossal, three-minute performance involved approximately 90 participants, showcasing a combination of street parades, stage performances, and symbolic formations. Through cohesive narrative and movement, FISIP UNDIP invites the audience to reflect on the Indonesian nation’s journey in maintaining peace and unity amidst diversity.
This theatrical starts with the segment “Peaceful Indonesia,” accompanied by the soft music of Tanah Airku (My Homeland). It showcases a beautiful panorama of the archipelago, featuring Indonesia national flag and participants in traditional costumes from various regions.
The atmosphere turned tense in the segment “The Emergence of Radicalism,” which depicted the rise of ideologies of hatred and intolerance. However, in the next segment, “The De-Radicalization Process,” FISIP UNDIP emerged as an agent of change, upholding the spirit of literacy, dialogue, and education to counter radicalism without violence.
The performance concluded with a majestic formation themed “Harmony of Indonesia,” accompanied by the song Garuda Pancasila. All participants united in a formation symbolizing “Bhinneka Tunggal Ika” (Unity in Diversity), with the red and white flag flying proudly in the center of the arena.

Through this theatrical work, FISIP UNDIP aimed to demonstrate the strategic role of social and political education in strengthening nationalism and humanity.
With the spirit of “Knitting Harmony in Diversity,” FISIP UNDIP is committed to continuously presenting works that educate, strengthen nationalism, and strengthen brotherhood within the campus and the wider community.
