Saturday (19/2/2022), the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro, held a Golf Tournament with the theme of Economic Recovery at Sentul Highland Club, Bogor Regency.
During the sunny weather and fresh air, the tournament was attended by 150 golfers. One of whom was the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora), Zainudin Amali. He opened the event marked by hitting the smoke balls.
Zainudin said in his speech after taking his Teeing Shot, that “this is very good, one of our ways to revive the economy during a pandemic. Keep applying the health protocol, stay healthy by exercising, the economy will be recovering.”
Meanwhile, the chairperson of IKA FISIP Undip Marokhan Sulaeman said that the spirit of this tournament was to participate and be part of the solution to the pandemic, especially in maintaining the economic revival.
“The public economy, the national industry is rising, the domestic products are growing stronger and more competitive. The golf tournament is one of the ways to show optimism in the midst of the pandemic. Of course with good progress.” Masrokhan added.
In the golf tournament, there was also a symbolic presentation of scholarships for 40 Fisip Undip students as well as assistance for improving the infrastructure of the Universitas Diponegoro Faculty of Social and Political Sciences campus. Take the example, a co-working space facility for students. The funds were received by the Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr. Drs. Hardi Warsono, M.T, who was present in person at the event.
